El Centro Cultural de Mexico will host Dia de los Muertos for the third year
in a row on Saturday, November 5, 2005. This free, community event will be
celebrated at the ArtistVillage Promenade located on 2nd St. between Broadway
and Main St. in Santa Ana's Downtown District Map It.
The event would take place between 5:00pm - 10:00pm.
This year, Dia de los Muertos will have over 20 altars on display
constructed by community members from Santa Ana and the greater Orange County.
These altars are dedicated to deceased loved ones or will bring awareness to a
social issue. Altar space is still available and reservations are being accepted
via email through Friday, October 28th.
