EducARTE | Talleres/Workshops | Community Outreach | Educacion Sin Fronteras/Education Without Borders

We are a continuing education program determined to empower and solidify the foundation of our community's families through education. "Education without borders" program is focus on assisting our students to complete their studies and certified them, through established educational platforms in Mexico and the United States, we provide educational resources ranging from literacy and basic education, to secondary and post-secondary education G.E.D / Bachillerato. We receive support from institutions in Mexico such as Instituto Nacional de Educacion para adultos (INEA) consisting of books and learning materials as well as El Colegio de Bachilleres, with an educational platform via the internet. In the United States, Santa Ana College accredited us through their continuing education school program, certifying the G.E.D exam, or high school equivalent Diploma.

However, we do not just focus on providing educational services, but also work on cultivating an environment in which program participants develop leadership skills and a social conscious through volunteerism and community projects.

· We believe education is a universal human right.

· We believe that a high quality educational experience is financially attainable given the availability of qualified educators in the community.

· We believe that education enhances the ability of individuals to distinguish between real and false choices.

· We believe that a learning environment create an improved social dynamic conducive towards better understanding between cultures.

· We believe that once provided a learning opportunity, the individual is expected, encouraged and supported to excel in their course of study through to completion.

· We believe that students today become powerful leaders tomorrow.

· We believe that anyone who desires to improve their education status should be provided the opportunity to do so.

We are currently working on 3 key areas:

· Classroom instruction and guidance leading to certification in chosen program.

· Development of work skills: English, computer and technical skills.

· Creation of community leaders through training and participating in diverse activities that are directed towards social change.
